Once you’ve applied, you can expect to hear back from us within two weeks. If you look like you could bring something special to Signal AI, a member of our talent team will reach out to give you more information.
Understanding more about you, the role and aligning on skills with the hiring manager.
Task (e.g. Case study or Coding Challenge)
Tasks are role-specific and completed in your own time and, where necessary, are presented back to a panel.
The final opportunity to learn more about the culture, align on values and ask any more questions.
We are curious and eager learners, and so we actively encourage questions – we even have anonymous questions put to leadership every week at demo. Is there something you’d like to know about? Explore our most popular topics here and get in touch if you have any other questions.
I have special requirements. What should I do? We know that some people may require adjustments to enable them to be successful in the interview process. If you require any adjustments, please speak with your Talent Partner and we can work together to find a solution.
How long does it take to get feedback about my interview? You’ll work closely with your Talent Partner to understand expectations around your individual process. Your Talent Partner will be in touch within 48 hours of your interview with an update on next steps.
What is the onboarding process for new joiners? Check our Life at Signal AI for more information on our onboarding process.
What should I do if I have a problem with my application? You can email [email protected] if you have any problems with submitting your application.
Does Signal AI offer flexible working? We have adopted a hybrid policy of 2-3 days per week in the office. We really appreciate spending time together face to face but we know that Signallers need flexibility to manage their schedules around work. We work hard, but we’re definitely not clock watchers. There may be times when you need to adjust your daily schedule, these arrangements can easily be made with your Line Manager. We have two remote blocks each year, six weeks over the summer and three weeks during winter. We don’t offer fully remote roles.
Will I be asked to come onsite for an interview? Face to face collaboration and culture is really important to Signallers. Because of this, you will be invited to come onsite for one interview during your process (usually the task & panel interview) so you can get a feeling for what life at Signal AI will be like. We’ll use the terminology ‘IPM’ which stands for ‘In Person Meeting’. We’ll usually try to plan IPM interviews on Wednesday and Thursday when the majority of Signallers come into the office.
How should I prepare for my interview? Each interview type and interviewer will ask you different questions to help us get to know you and your skills better. Your Talent Partner will help you understand what type of information your interviewer will be looking for during the interview. A good place to start is to make sure you research who will be interviewing you by checking out their LinkedIn profile. It is also important to understand our company values and mission of what we are trying to achieve – you can find this information at signal-ai.com across our corporate website, blog and our Working at Signal page.
“Working for a disruptive company is a total thrill ride! It’s not just a job; it’s an exciting journey, where our passion drives us forward.”
“It’s great to see how everyone’s unique experiences & backgrounds are helping to shape not only a great company, but an even better culture.”
The first two weeks at Signal AI are a great time for you to learn more about the company, the different teams and their roles – and fully understand how you can develop here. You’ll also build great relationships with the rest of your onboarding community, getting to know your fellow new starters really well and meeting people around the company that you’ll be working closely with, whether they’re in your team or not.
One week before joining, we’ll begin the preparations for your arrival – we’ll need to know everything from your dietary requirements through to your swag sizing!
Your first day will be spent in person and you’ll be greeted by your manager, key office contacts and be introduced to your onboarding community who you will experience the onboarding journey with.
First Two Weeks
During this period, you’ll complete our Onboarding Journey which will introduce you to each of our departments, providing an understanding of the different teams and how they contribute to our success. The onboarding journey is a mix of centrally organising onboarding meetings, department specific sessions and self-led learning pathways.
We’ll be keen to know you are fully set up for success so the People team will be sure to stay connected, check in and get some feedback to make sure we haven’t left any gaps!
