How much is Sweetgreen associated with a ‘healthy diet’ or ‘organic farming’? Or Tesla with ‘electric vehicles’ or ‘product recalls’? Or TikTok with ‘cyberbullying’ or ‘UGC’?
With access to 880+ topics trained on the Signal AI platform, you can quickly and easily answer the strategic reputation management questions that are top-of-mind:
- Which topics are my brand associated with?
- What topics are percolating in my sector that we should know about?
- How can we better measure our reputation against our peers?
- How are others in my industry performing related to this topic?
- What are the whitespace opportunities we should lean into, and where are their reputational risks?
We’ve now trained an additional 155 reputation topics on the platform for more in-depth and actionable insights. Let’s explore what exactly we mean by AI-trained topics and how this enhances your experience.
How does Signal AI train topics?
A topic is an AI-trained model intended to surface highly relevant content rather than smaller passing mentions of an area of interest. For example, an article that doesn't mention the keyword Sustainability but is about a sustainable product launch will be surfaced when using the topic Sustainability.
Signal AI replaces the need for tedious Boolean keyword search by making it possible to search for a topic (or entity) instead of searching for every variation of that topic. For example, you search with our topic ‘Diversity in the workplace’ for every news story on the issue without having to string a thousand-word keyword search for all the terms you might associate with it.
Using our proprietary AIQ engine powered by retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AIQ really understands topics in context, going beyond just keywords to surface those important signals in the noise, ranking the topic by salience, and de-duplicating that coverage.
AIQ is the brain behind Signal AI’s risk and reputation intelligence solutions. The more interactions that occur with AIQ, the more it understands and anticipates needs. It effectively can tell the difference between a brand name and an everyday object with the same name: consider Apple the company and apple the fruit.
