The top performing organizations in the Signal AI Perception of Gender in Business Report 2022

Tackling gender inequality in business is a key issue for many organizations seeking to address the imbalance. The impact of this imbalance has been felt acutely throughout the pandemic with women more likely to lose their jobs or forgo it to care for their families.

Levelling imbalances in pay gaps, increasing the number of female leaders in boardrooms and eradicating sexism in the workplace are key objectives for businesses of all size. We used our data to dive deeper into these areas and more in our Signal AI Perception of Gender in Business Report 2022.

In the report, we look at how Microsoft, Apple, Amazon and other top 10 companies in the S&P 500 perform on topics like Female Leadership, the Gender Pay Gap and Sexism in the Workplace. The research also looks at the organizations most positively associated with these issues and other key topics during Women’s History Month in March 2022.

This research indicates how some of the key themes related to gender inequality are being covered by the global media. The organizations with the best perception against the topics are perceived as leading the way in tackling bias and creating change.
